RE: Election Volunteers: Final Push
As you are aware, our Association has endorsed two (2) candidates for the City Council races currently being contested:
District 1 – Chuck Riojas
District 3 – Cynthia Sterling
Mr. Riojas has put out a call for volunteers to help make a final push leading to the June 6, 2006 Election. It is absolutely imperative that we help elect candidates who appreciate the role our employees play in providing our citizens with all the essential services on a daily basis, and who will help create the best possible working environment for all of the City’s work force. We need you to do your part.
We will walk precincts on:
Saturday – June 3rd, 9:00 – 12:00 noon
Sunday – June 4th, 9:00 – 12:00 noon
Monday – June 5th, All Day
Tuesday – Get out the vote (GOTV) We will need volunteers to go door to door and encourage all registered voters to get to the polls. Pick a date (or dates) and time(s) that fit your schedule and join us.
