All members should be familiar with their rights under a Supreme Court decison, commonly called "Weingarten Rights". Should you be called into a supervisor's or manager's office for any type of disciplinary action or "discussion" you may invoke your "Weingarten Rights". The following statement should be given immediately:
"If this discussion or meeting could lead to any disciplinary action or adversely affect the terms and conditions of my employment, I request that my union representative be present. In the absence of such representation, I respectfully refuse to respond to your questions"

Where the teamsters website talks about "steward" just substitute "director". You should be aware that your directors are your "shop stewards". You may of course also contact the FCEA office and request our Representative be present.
